I had a
classical quartet for the entire day (a midday wedding with only
family), and they played beautifully the entire time. the music never
waned!
the very best part was our first dance. we had chosen two songs, one
classical and the other, our preference, a rock song (the Ataris) which
would need to be composed into classical. The violinist rewrote the
Ataris song for us, and it was perfect! she absolutely caught the
essence of the song and as we dance we heard every word of the special
lyrics in our heads. the best part was she seemed happy to do it! not
the least bit bothered by our special request! (bride's review of
9/20/09 wedding at the Ram's Head Inn. The Ataris song, "I.O.U. One
Galaxy" took me several hours to arrange, and the music contractor let
me know at the last minute. So I'm extremely happy they enjoyed it!)
Catherine
did a phenomenal job; she met with us before the wedding to plan the
music, was enthusiastic about our ideas and requests, was incredibly
sweet and pleasant to work with, and is amazingly talented! I can say
with certainty that her music was one of the most important elements of
our celebration. What an excellent violinist! Highly recommended! --

Catherine's
excitement, enthusiaism, and phenominal talent is a knock-out! Her
skill grabbed the attention of not only the guests but the wedding
co-ordinator at The Grand Hotel of Cape May. Catherine went above and
beyond the call of duty from the first moment to the last to make her
portion of our wedding as amazing and easy as possible for us. She
loves what she does and it shines through from the second you make
contact. She has the ability to go from traditional mode to creative
and innovative in a heartbeat and truly listens to your desires and
personality to help you to make your dream come true. THANK YOU
CATHERINE! -- Gloria R, Cape May, NJ, 6/8/2008

If
I weren't married in a church, I would have hired Linda Moore to do my
wedding ceremony. She is professional, knowledgeable in every aspect of
wedding ceremonies, and is a licensed clergy with 20+ years experience:

My
husband Steve and I spent our honeymoon weekend at the Carisbrooke Inn
in Ventnor City, NJ. It's the most charming Bed and Breakfast, with
fantastic amenities (whirpool baths/steam rooms, great breakfast).
Please tell John I sent you. The whole staff will treat you like
family. I'm not easily impressed, but I'm looking for an excuse to go
back! www.carisbrookeinn.com/index.html
I'm
a fan of the Grand Hotel in Cape May. I've played many beach weddings
there and I really like how the wedding coordinators handle
things. www.grandhotelcapemay.com/index.php
During
the process of baking my own wedding cake (I know! It was an eggless
Pina Colada cake with coconut frosting) with the help of my dear friend
Bette Drew (www.your-vegetarian-kitchen.com),
we came across Sweet Tooth in Egg Harbor City. Aside from the massive
amounts of baking supplies and flavors (pina colada flavor: score!),
there are plenty of candy making supplies. If you are handy in the
kitchen and/or have some help, you could make elegant favors. Plus, I
just adore this place. www.sweettoothsj.com
Susan
Salmon is mentioned elsewhere on this website, for several reasons. She
plays violin, mandolin, guitar, and keyboards. She is professional,
always prepared, and works tirelessly on her music. I respect that. www.myspace.com/susansalmon
It's
a long story, but I ended up with TWO chocolate fountains at my own
wedding reception (dark and milk). I'm still in shock. It was the best
chocolate I've ever tasted. The staff is friendly, the dipping items
are top quality, and I'm still talking about it (2 years later)! The
children LOVED it, but I was a chocoholic bride too! www.chocolatefountainfantasies.com
